Fetal Treatment Program Research at Ohio State

Research efforts in Fetal Treatment include maintenance of a comprehensive database of clinical data obtained from fetal therapy patients.  Abstracts and articles are regularly written under the following IRB approved protocols;

  • Outcomes of twin twin transfusion syndrome, a two year follow up of survivors
  • 4 year follow up of children diagnosed with urologic or bladder disorders before birth
  • Registry of fetal anomalies
  • Alloimmunization in pregnancy, a registry with 50 years of clinical data

Ohio State Fetal Treatment is a member of multi site interventional trials treating;

  • Alloimmune thrombocytopenia
  • Congenital heart block due to maternal antibodies
